This is whitout a doubt the best Thriller I've read so far. It's a classical with all the right elements. The Amusement Park with the Clown Museum and Porcelain Doll House, a small seaside town where everybody knows everyone. The new deputy Chief of Police, who's just come to town when the decomposed body of a young man is found at the bottom of the Wonder Wheel. It was just perfect.
Reading this novel was like looking at movie on the tellie. One of the characters, helping the deputy chief inspector is a black man who is casually looking at the Bone Collector on TV, and comments that if ever he is featured in a film he wants Denzel Washington to play his role. I thought that was sooo cool.
It was scary, engrossing, the characters three-dimensional - I just couldn't put it down. And now two days later I'm still thinking about it. About that ending and how I absolutely did not have a clue of who the real murderer was.
Just brilliant
REVIEW: A solid 5 stars for me!!!!
