Thriller Review 'Jar of Hearts' by Jennifer Hillier 5*****

I actually read this before reading 'Wonderland' and was completely blown away by her writing-style and the way this book just flowed like a movie. The characters were so real and just the whole story felt like something that could have actually happened. The book starts with the main character Georgina being sent to prison after having discovered the remains of her best friends buried behind her house. Her serial-killer ex-boyfriend is incriminated for the crime and sent to prison for life. I thought it very brave that the author actually described her five years in jail because that part was important to get to know Georgina better (as much as it was disturbing). Just before Georgina is released from prison two more bodies are discovered in the exact same place. Everybody suspects her Calvin James, her childhood boyfriend, turned serial-murder who has escaped from prison a few years ago. But somethings are not what they seem and Kaiser, Georgina's friend from Highschool, is about to find out.

Absolutely loved this book and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyes a Thriller who does not shy away from the difficult scenes.
