Has any of you ever tried to write a story?

I started to write my first short story at elementary school. Being in Switzerland the story was written in German. At the time I had a wonderful friend called Heidi, who loved reading just as much as I did. I even created a free library in my own home, where I could lend books to my friends. Heidi was the one who got me reading 4 books a week from the school-library and I couldn't seem to get enough, until one day we decided to write something together. I lost sight of her when I was around 18 but 40 years later I'm still writing.

This is the synopsis of my first historical romance novel...

When Marcus Remington asks Virginia to marry him one rainy night, she never realizes how much she will come to regret her refusal.
