This was such a rollercoaster!

I just couldn't put this book down. Packed with relentless suspense and great twists it was like watching an action-filled thriller movie. I'm a huge sucker for thrillers where a bunch of people are stuck somewhere isolated... and then something bad happens. Just my piece of cake.

This is about a college student who gets trapped in a remote highway rest stop with four other strangers. When she goes out into the blizzard to find a signal to call home she discovers a little girl locked in an animal crate in a van parked outside in the snow. Which of the strangers has kidnapped this girl, and how can she help her?

Just so good. And that final chapter was just perfect. The author actually fooled me.

For the faint at heart, I would like to point out that there are some truly gruesome scenes near the end, but they aren't gratuitous. I think they fit perfectly into the story and atmosphere.

Now I want the movie, please!
