This has to be every woman’s nightmare.

Your car is out of gas, it’s late at night on a lonely road and a storm is brewing. A truck stops with a man and a child... surely there is no harm accepting his offer to drive you to the next town? Right?

Wrong!

I fully enjoyed the story and the characters. The author made it easy to relate to each one of them.

I managed to figure out who the villain was fairly early in the book, but it didn’t take away the pleasure of reading a well-executed thriller that kept me glued to the pages from beginning to end. I felt the last twist was a little too contrived and rather unlikely. It’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.
